In 2025, Saudi Arabia's real GDP grew by 4.5%, non-oil activities now represent more than 55% of the economy, and unemployment among Saudi nationals has fallen to historically low levels. The Public Investment Fund (PIF) has grown its assets to SAR 3.41 trillion, and the Kingdom maintains a stable AA/A+ credit rating from all three major international agencies.

• Over 18 million Umrah pilgrims hosted in 2025, exceeding the target

• The Human Development Index rose from 0.860 to 0.900
• Saudi Arabia ranked 38th globally in logistics performance — ahead of many developed markets
• International investment climate continues to improve with regulatory reforms and MISA's expanding role

 Over the past decade, Saudi Arabia's real GDP climbed from SAR 3.7 trillion to SAR 4.9 trillion, on track toward the SAR 6.5 trillion target by 2030. Non-oil GDP rose from SAR 2.2 trillion to SAR 3.4 trillion, reflecting a private sector that now contributes well above the 65% target — up from just 44% in 2016.

On the social front, Saudi unemployment fell from 12.3% to 7.2%, nearly hitting the 7% national goal, while women's participation in the workforce more than doubled — from 22.8% to 35%, approaching the 40% target. Life expectancy rose from 77 to 79.7 years, effectively achieving the 2030 benchmark five years early.

The Public Investment Fund grew its assets from SAR 720 billion to SAR 3.41 trillion — a fivefold increase on the way to SAR 10 trillion. And military industry localization surpassed its own target, reaching 24.89% against a goal of 20%.
